One of the key aspects of the St. Thomas Aquinas High School mission is to instill in students a heart for service. STA students are encouraged to be active members of their local communities and to make a difference by sharing their talents. On Tuesday, October 11th, Homecoming Weekend will conclude with the highly anticipated all-school service day called Saints Taking Action.
Over 650 students, nearly 100 faculty and dozens of parent volunteers will head out into the community to help with a variety of service projects. Serving nearly 60 organizations such as area food pantries, shelters, city parks, community athletic fields and churches, the students will help with painting projects, landscaping, and general cleaning and maintenance.
