CURSILLO / ULTREYA

Cursillo is a “Movement of the Catholic Church that, with its own method, makes it possible to live what is fundamental for being a Christian.” The method helps to create communities of Christians who are interested in bringing the Good News to their environments as they grow and become authentic Christians themselves. Cursillo is a weekend experience designed to help men and women grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.  The weekend experience is a personal encounter with Christ in order to experience a full and progressive renewal of baptismal commitments.

"Ultreya" is a Spanish word, derived from the original Latin, meaning Onward!
It was said by pilgrims to greet and to encourage one another along the way. In Ultreya we continue our Faith journey together through the sharing of prayer, study and action.  Ultreya offers an opportunity to refocus our minds and hearts on Jesus and be renewed in His love and peace.
